The Department for Employment and Learning[1], in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 21 of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999[2] and now vested in it[3], and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Part-time Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 21st October 2001. Amendment of the Industrial Tribunals (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 2. In Article 20(1)(h) of the Industrial Tribunals (Northern Ireland) Order 1996[4] (cases where conciliation provisions apply), for the words "of paragraph (2) of regulation 7" there shall be substituted -
